Zynthian is an Open Synth Platform: An Open Hardware device (currently based on the Raspberry Pi) designed for running a specific Linux distribution (currently Raspbian), specially configured and adapted for audio synthesis & proccessing. The software includes several Free Software synthesizers, samplers, filters, etc. It is relatively inexpensive to build, varying from 100 to 300 € depending on the chosen components.
