By default, each pad header shows the number corresponding to the Zynpad view and the instrument chain that is assigned to it. The black numbered bars are the default patterns (currently empty). Unfortunately, arranger in its current state does not indicate which patterns hold sequences. The bottom-left corner shows the pattern selector, this gets used once we start arranging patterns.
