File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 2.jpg|2. First off, lets jump into arranger view and see how the default layout looks. Access the ZynPad menu with tap the top bar and choose the arranger menu option
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 3.jpg|Before doing anything, lets jump into arranger view and see how the default layout looks. On the left side are the pad and track headers/indicators. By default, each pad header shows the number corresponding to the Zynpad view and the instrument chain that is assigned to it. The black numbered bars are the default patterns (currently empty). Unfortunately arranger in its current state does not indicate which patterns hold sequences.

By default, each pad header shows the number corresponding to the Zynpad view and the instrument chain that is assigned to it. The black numbered bars are the default patterns (currently empty). Unfortunately, arranger in its current state does not indicate which patterns hold sequences. The bottom-left corner shows the pattern selector, this gets used once we start arranging patterns.
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 4.jpg|Back out of arranger view into Zynpad view and let's make a pattern for the bass. Bold-SELECT the 1st pad (A1) to enter the pattern editor view.

File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 4.jpg|4. Back out of arranger view into Zynpad view and let's make a pattern for the bass. Bold-SELECT the 1st pad (E BASS 1 - A1) to enter the pattern editor view.
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 5.jpg|Here in the pattern editor you should see the (hopefully) familiar piano roll grid view. Go ahead and enter some notes as you see fit.

File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 5.jpg|5. Here in the pattern editor you should see the (hopefully) familiar piano roll grid view. Feel free to enter your own pattern or add as shown. You may find it faster to use a touchscreen or mouse if available rather than the encoders. This is 16ths on ‘e + a’ like a synthwave style bass, leaving space on the quarter notes for a kick.

File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 6.jpg|6. Back out of the pattern and bold-SELECT into the B5 pad and enter the following arpeggiator pattern or your own creation.
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 7.jpg|

File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 7.jpg|7. You should start to see a pattern! (rollicking laughter) Jump back out to the Zynpad view then into to the C9 pad and add these chords or your own.
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 8.jpg|

File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 8.jpg|8. We’re almost there, moving onto the drums at D13. The suggested pattern here are some kicks on 1 & 3. Then we’ll move onto D14 and D15 building up the drum pattern.
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 9.jpg|
+
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 9.jpg|9. Go back to the Zynpad view and you can see the STOP icons showing that these patterns are now loaded up in the (your screen may look slightly different depending on how many patterns you entered and where).
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 10.jpg|
+
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 10.jpg|10. Now we’re going to jump back into the arranger view with bold-SELECT on pattern A1. Now change the pattern selector to 1 if it’s not there already and add 3 more patterns to the right of pad 1 as shown.
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 11.jpg|

File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 11.jpg|11. Next up we’re going to finally make those Zynpads get to work. With your cursor still sitting on the first row, access the arranger menu (tap top bar) and let’s add another track. If you added a track to the wrong pad row, no problem, you can go back to the arranger menu and delete the track then move your cursor up to the 1st row again.
File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 12.jpg|

File:Arranger Mini Tutorial 12.jpg|12. Notice the second track has the number ‘2’ to the right of the pad. This means it’s track 2 launched from pad 1 (A1). Now change the selector to pattern 13 and add the kick pattern to the second half of the row as shown.
