They can be used to control volume of selected/main chain, move vertically/horizontally in pattern editor or Zynpad, move selected item in menus, etc. Press <code>SHIFT</code> with a knob for a coarse (faster) adjustment. The knob press is activated using the first four soft keys to the left (in green), and also has short/bold press support.
